1896 Antique Victorian Wood Gesso Frame German Confirmation Art Ornate. This frame fits a 12 in by 17 in picture. The overall size of the frame is 15 in by 20.5 inches.
Overall good antique condition. The gesso has chipped off in a few areas, most noticeably in bottom left corner. The surface of the frame could use a detailed cleaning. Glass is in good condition. The art/confirmation piece is dated from 1896 and is in German. The paper has some damage/holes.
The threading to hang frame in back is intact but I would recommend replacing that with hanging wire before hanging frame on wall.
