Both of these beautiful books are in amazing condition for their age. The spine is strong and sturdy, there are no loose pages, there is no writing or ripped pages. There is a bit of aware on top of both the front spines as seen in the photos. The books measure 5 x 8.
The Harvard Classics became a widely popular set for self-education and cultural literacy in the early 20th century, embodying the idea of a "cultivated person”.
