This 1944 P Jefferson Nickel has MAJOR Lamination errors on the reverse (folds, cracks, peels, retained and lost pieces) and minor lamination error below date on the obverse making it a One-of-a-kind coin. (see pics)
During the war years nickel was needed for weapons production so the nickel was composed of 35% Silver to make more Nickel available for the war.
