Oneida Community Silver Plate "Morning Star" Pattern Flatware 57 Pcs Service for 8 with 4 serving piece in original walnut wood chest. This silverware pattern was to commemorate the crowning of Edward VIII of England. The pattern introduced in 1948, now discontinued. Made in the USA of fine quality silver plate with a deep, bonded coating. The silver layer is thick enough to withstand regular use. The process bonds silver onto the metal alloy base, creating a thick, lasting finish. Service for 8: 8 Hollow Dinner Knives Stainless Blade; 8 Dinner Forks; 8 Salad Forks; 8 Tablespoons; 16 Teaspoons; Gravy Ladle, Serving Fork, Berry Spoon, 2 Server Tablespoons. Very good condition. Light scratches from age/use. Chest has original anti-tarnish velvet lined interior with a little wear. Chest 3 3/4" T x 18″ L x 11 1/2″ D. Light scuffs/scratches. Red felt strips on bottom coming off/missing. Hinges work. No odor. Each piece of silverware has been buffed and polished. Total Weight 10 lbs.
