19th-C. Hand-Colored Neoclassical Lithograph in Monumental Gilt Frame

A striking 19th-century hand-colored lithograph with a neoclassical/Roman subject—maidens strewing flowers before a veiled figure—housed in a spectacular architectural gilt frame with floral frieze and shield-cartouches with eagles. Under glass, wired to hang. The frame has grand presence and reads almost like a small overmantel. Print presents well with even toning under old glass. Frame shows scattered age wear: edge and corner nicks/chips to molding (see close-ups), stable craquelure to frieze, small losses to gilding. See pictures for condition and dimensions.
