2 Ancient Roman era rings, gold with the original stones in tact.

These two ancient Roman reigns are incredible example of the gold and quality of the craftsmanship not to mention the fact that these are over 3,000 years old and I can't believe that they actually still have the stones that were originally set in place. Usually these would have been slivers of diamonds basically they wouldn't have faceted them they would have just been flat slabs that they would have cut. There was one that I did minor repair to and I actually enjoyed the repair so much that it seemed to add to the ring as opposed to taking it away. And for me finding these pieces and then fixing them and putting them back in the world you're not only does tremendous things for myself but it also allows me to continue their story in whatever way they see fit.
