▪️40s LIGHTNING Zip Jacket Short Length Lightning Blouson

Details and design suggest a rare vintage piece from around the 1940s.

Length (from collar): 65cm
Shoulder width (from shoulder seam to seam): 40cm
No shoulder pads

Width (measured at armpits): 55cm
Sleeve length (from shoulder seam): 53cm
Sleeve + shoulder length (from center of neck to cuff): 71cm

I (165cm/53kg, slim build) could wear it with a good fit, sleeves just at the wrist.
Depending on preference and how you wear it,
Recommended for those around ~165cm tall!!

Multi-colored, but the impression is a dark brown.
Appears gray in the images, but actually looks brown.

【Condition】
Repairs at the pocket openings as shown in image ① (also present in the same area in unseen places, but no problem for use and not noticeable unless you look closely)

Repairs on the left sleeve as indicated by the white arrow, and on the back as indicated by the red arrow (enlarged below - there are other small ones, but they are not holes)

Small damage to the lining of the cuffs, but not enough to hinder wear.

There is some light soiling, but it's a good texture like linen. The most noticeable is around the left shoulder, indicated by the blue arrow.

I think it's a material that's not easily eaten by moths,
but it's in very good condition for an old wool product.

【Remarks】
Vintage sports jacket

The size may be for women or boys.
A rare size that can be worn perfectly by petite people.

The pattern and details, as well as the unique charm, are reminiscent of how Keiichi Tanaka of the former CDG HOMME modified men's designs for women.

The lining is made of a linen-like material and double-layered denim, possibly using surplus stock.

(Image ② - the bottom shows that the pattern is beautifully made in the sleeves - it continues to the sleeve ends)

You wouldn't know it's denim unless you flip it over, but it's an interesting detail unique to old vintage pieces.

A rare pattern with a herringbone-like diamond shape with red embroidery in a grid pattern.

The tailoring is good, so even on the reverse side,
the fabric is not thick, so wearing it inside out and putting a jacket over it is fresh and well-balanced.
