African Burkina Hand Crafted Shoulder Bag-RARE NOS-New Old Stock. Individually hand crafted by the Tuareg artisans of Burkina Faso making each a unique work of art. Has Braided leather straps, zipper closure & flexible leather sides & bottom that expand to allow more content. The front leather stained-in art depicts village huts inside the Arica map. The back is beautifully woven with sisal into a circular multicolored pattern. Sisal fiber is harvested from the center of agave plants, which are native to the area. Fiber is rolled into twine, then woven into baskets and other crafts. As with any hand-crafted item, imperfections are highly possible. Another item from my Fabulous Estate Sale Finds. Some items may be NOS-new old stock however it may have dust/soil/tear/other slight damage.
