The first monograph of works by photographer Amy Su. This work is her own ballad, composed of portraits, landscapes, and abstract works she shot in New York, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo, and Los Angeles between 2001 and 2018. This work includes outtakes of celebrities such as Clara Deshayes, Jonathan Anderson, Gia Coppola, Marianne Faithfull, and Léa Seydoux, whom she has photographed for famous magazines such as i-D, Self Service, and French Vogue, along with photos of lovers, friends, landscapes, and abstracts taken as if they were paintings. Her lens captures both the moments before and after as a fashion photographer, and the moments she herself captured on her journey. This work was all shot on 35mm and 120 film.
