Ben-Hur originally opened on Broadway in 1899 and ran for 194 productions, then re-opened in 1900 and ran for 18 consecutive years.
Ben-Hur was a six-act play based on Lew Wallace's 19th-century novel of the same name. The play was a hit, selling 25,000 tickets per week. The production featured a live camel, two fake camels, and an eight-part treadmill for the chariot race.
This is a great piece for any fan of the theater arts and is packed with scenes from the production. It would look amazing framed! Measures 12x10.
