Beautiful old horse collar. This collar is originally from a small country town in Illinois. My hopes was to use it to frame a mirror. It’s such a wonderful piece for an equestrian style cabin, or a prairie style farmhouse. It’s rough and shows its age in a beautiful way. That’s what’s so pretty-To see the hay stuffing and imagining all the hand stitching it took to make it.
It’s heavy!
