This horse tack is approximately 75 years old perhaps more. It belonged to the horse that drew the cart in my lovely Dad’s family scrap merchant yard. Clearing some of the old crates my Dad left , mum discovered them. Anyone interested in antique horse tack might like them for a collection. The buckle was made by Lowndes of Ashbourne, Derbyshire . There are obviously signs of wear due to age and the leather of the buckle is fragile but holding.
