Antique large transferware platter SF&J oval scalloped England brown elegant

This listing is for a lovely semi-porcelain serving platter by S.F.&J.. Manufactured in England, this piece has an elegant, but not too fussy aesthetic. Love the swooping lines of the outer edge of the piece as well as the detailed, but understated floral transfer. This piece would be great for both utilitarian and decorative purposes.

The platter measures approximately 16 1/8 x 11 3/4 x 1 1/2". It is in good condition for its age, but not pristine. There are no major structural issues to mention, but plenty of surface wear (especially in the middle), some slight discoloration and a couple of tiny flea bites on the edge. Personally, I love these time created imperfections. :-)
