Excellent condition, no flaws whatsoever. This piece dates to the early 1900s and is hallmarked and tested, guaranteed to be solid 9kt yellow gold throughout yet visually passes for a higher purity. Features a large oval center bezel-set garnet framed by dozens of smaller round prong-set garnets. All are rose cut pyrope or pigeon's blood genuine garnets in a luscious deep red/burgundy. Maker's mark is an F inside a square cartouche. Weight is 6.39 grams. Measures approximately 1.13" x 0.88". Trombone clasp functions perfectly.
