Lucrezia Borgia was famous for using Poison Rings like this one! The front if the ring opens & you could hide something small in there! This ring is rather old & does have some pitting on the front of the poison conpartment, which does close well, thiugh it's a little loose. The band not perfectly round. In decent shape for an antique, but does show wear. Still, it's a cool piece, weighing in at 8.1 grams. The ring is a size 6 & is stamped 925. It's crafted from solid sterling silver.
