This beautiful antique sterling 925 Victorian cameo mens ring of the Roman God of War Mars is an absolute dream. Stamped STERLING, makers mark cannot be deciphered. It’s a solid size 12.
It belonged to my father-in-law’s father. It predates WWII, where he was a medic on D+3 on one of the beaches. He most likely obtained it in Europe during that time period, but as the good Lord called him home several years back, we cannot confirm how or where he got it. Our best guess at aging it places it between 100-150 years old. It’s a very valuable piece. A similar cameo bust in brooch recently sold (last picture). This comes with the case pictured. It has normal wear and tear but in terms of condition for its age; exquisite. This ring is the perfect statement piece for any man who appreciates history, style, mythology, luxury and strength.
