Ipad is in great shape, but there is a blemish in the lower black bezel -it does not show when the screen is lit, and would be covered by the case if you care to use it. The case is heavily used, but workable, I'll send it along so there's that much better a chance the tablet will arrive in working condition. I believe that the IOS is as updated as it can be, so further updates will not be possible.
