This is a powerful, oversized Aran knit made by spinning French merino wool, produced in a very limited area of southern France, into a high-twist yarn and then knitting it in a low gauge, taking a very long time. It excels in bulkiness more than conventional merino wool, and is characterized by its fluffy, light, and soft texture. Furthermore, the high-twist yarn creates a clear, textured knit fabric that is also resistant to pilling.
