I found this Pennsylvania National Guard button in Culpeper, Va near the train station. It sports a front with letters NG and has a lot of the original gold gilt. The back has the WG Minztner Phila backmark and shank is intact. Unfortunately the rim holding front to back was missing when i found it and is in two pieces but still a really nice excavated button for beginning collectors.
