This is the 3rd Bijan bronze sculpture that I had recently purchased at an estate sale in St. Augustine, Fl.
This sculpture is probably the most rare and magnificent piece of the three that I purchased.
This exact sculpture is named "Great Brutalist Bronze Jester with Balloons''.
Measures 17 tall x 6.5 wide at base x 5
Bijan was born in Tehran in 1936 as Bijan Jazai Shokatfard * moved to the United States in 1959.
He also became a Dr. in 1972. This is an extremely rare sculpture that is just about extinct as time passes
