Near Mint Condition “Black’s Law Dictionary” Hardcover from 1982, the much coveted 5th Edition, before some of the definitions were modified to be “woke” and “social justice” minded. This 1511 page Classic Modern Edition is in near mint condition and would look like new on your professional bookshelf or desk.
Looking around at the other Fifth Edition Black” Law Dictionary offerings, this one is in the best physical condition. It’s really near mint.
This book was never manhandled by some aggressive lawyer. Gently used only on rare occasions and otherwise stored in a barrister’s bookshelf with proper humidity and dryness control. Not one speck of writing. Only imperfection is a 1 millimeter chip to the front mid-outer spine. (Would say “like new” for condition, if that 1 millimeter chip speck wasn’t there.) That’s it. Not even shelf wear or rubbing on the boards at the bottom of book. No signs of use.
