This is Smithson. He is the 150th Anniversary bear made by Canterbury Bears of England. This bear has been in storage but well cared for. He has a beautiful bow with the Smithsonian Sun logo, all tags are attached and he has a gold key hanging on a blue ribbon stamped with "Smithsonian ". This is a limited-addition bear from 1996 to celebrate 150th years of the Smithsonian which was established in 1846.
