The collet extension, used to make extra deep bowls, is also useful whenever your general woodworking requires extra deep cuts. In addition to the Bowl and Tray Kit you may be interested in round over bits for easing the corners on the top and bottom of the finished project. CMT's 1/4-inch round over bit (838.254.11, 1/4-inch shank and 838.754.11, 1/2-inch shank) and 1/2-inch round over bit (838.880.11, 1/2-inch shank and 838.380.11, 1/4-inch shank) are useful additions to the kit. Additionally, a wide variety of template shapes, all compatible with the bowl and tray router bit and collet extension, will soon be available to supplement the Bowl and Tray Kit.
