The CTI 2500-RIO-A is an RS-485 Remote Base Controller (RBC) designed to enable a CTI 2500 Series® or Simatic® 505 I/O base to function as a slave node on an RS-485 TI Remote I/O channel. This allows for the control of remotely located I/O bases over a twisted-pair RS-485 cable up to 1000 meters from the CPU.
