De Carlini Circus Elephant Vintage MCM Red Glass Christmas Ornament Italy 50’s

Beautiful De Carlini Circus Elephant Christmas ornament. Vintage hand blown glass made in Italy, most likely 1950’s, possibly 1960’s. Unique MCM, red elephant standing on colorful striped circus ball. Hand painted, elephant has gold glitter detail throughout on legs, ears, trunk and tail. There are a few rouge specks of glitter around the ornament from production. There is the tiniest scuff in the paint on one of the small green and red stripes on the ball, on the backside of the ornament. See photos. Smaller than a pencil tip. Didn’t notice it in person even while inspecting for flaws until I was zooming on photos. Great condition overall for age. Measures about 5” tall, 6” long, larger size as far as ornaments go.
