【Foreign Book】Diane Arbus: Revelations
【Product Details】
This book reproduces 200 photographs spanning Diane Arbus's entire career in full-page duotone.
It also includes an essay by Sandra S. Phillips, Senior Curator of Photography Emeritus at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and a discussion of Arbus's printing techniques by Neil Selkirk, who was the only person authorized to print her photographs after her death. Additionally, a chronology by Elizabeth Sussman, Guest Curator at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Doon Arbus, Arbus's eldest daughter, is composed of over 300 photographs and excerpts from Arbus's letters and notes, serving as a kind of autobiography. Following an afterword by Doon Arbus, Jeff L. Rosenheim, Curator in Charge of the Department of Photographs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, has edited biographies of the photographer's friends and colleagues. These texts help to illuminate the meaning of Diane Arbus's remarkable vision.
