A remix barter project by Lord Echo and DJ Day appears on white vinyl from Bastard Jazz, a prestigious label known for NY dub and breakbeats.
This is a great project where the talented NZ artist Lord Echo, who is now very popular in Japan, and DJ Day, who continues to release consistently great music from MPM and Piecelock70, remix each other's songs. On the A-side, Lord Echo transforms DJ Day's 2013 album title track "Land of 1000 Chances" into a reggae disco tune. On the B-side, DJ Day creates a smokier and dubbier version of Lord Echo's "Bohemian Idol" from his 2nd album. Both sides showcase the strengths and compatibility of both artists.
