Produced in the late 1800’s- Impressed Bottom Stamp Is Shown although hard to read.
Laurel Wreath Shape - Also known as Victory Shape
This Early English White Ironstone Pitcher Has A Round Laurel Wreath Embossed On Each Side. Bands Of Ribs And Concave Thumbprints Encircle It. The Handle Is Quite Special.
This white ironstone pitcher is in good condition but has one tiny chip in the spout as pictured. It’s hardly noticeable when displayed. No cracks or crazing. There are a few tiny dark spots - most likely kiln dust original to the potting. The glaze is shiny and bright.
Approx. 6”h x 5.75” from tip of spout to handle x 4.25”w.
