A very hard to find pair of vintage decorative bookends of Bastet, the Egyptian cat God. Not only are they functional for organizing books, but they can also serve as charming decoration in any setting, whether it be on a shelf, desk, or in a living room.
Likely made during the American art deco period, these Egyptian revival pieces of art are quite heavy, solid, thick, clean, strong, and well made. They are a true joy.
They have not been washed, cleaned, or waxed. They have their original factory black paint with no repaints or repairs, no breaks or structural damage, only normal surface wear as shown.
