I used this pillow after foot surgery when my leg was in a cast and then in a boot to keep my foot elevated. The surgeon recommended it. It works really well compared to regular pillows. There is some pilling on the cover where the Velcro from the boot snagged it. The cover has a zipper, if you want to take it off and wash it. It also has handles on the side, if you need to carry it easily.
