Guerlain L’Art et Matiere /Extrait (authenticating photos)

There are a lot of fake Guerlains and many decanting fake Extraits! It’s very easy to tell the difference- the biggest tell is look carefully at the word “Paris” on the front of the bottle where is reads “Guerlain Paris” the spacing on the fake is off and the “is” is pushed to the right and the letters are touching. The fake label itself is wrinkled paper and not a real metal plaque.
Another tell: the lettering on fake is a shadow font rather than raised lettering.
In real square L&M bottles (older 75ml are different) under the nozzle will have indented circles: fakes have a flat, disc like shape under the nozzle.
The batch code font is wrong on fake-Looking inside the bottom of the bottle- the black gasket is missing inside the atomizer. An easy tell is fakes have crooked labels and sloppy boxes and bottles.
