With its maximum bearing load of 800 t and its largest outreach of 116 m it sets new dimensions in its class. The crane has a multi variable boom assembly kit and is thus particularly versatile. In order to increase the bearing load even further a derrick jib with a 250 t additional weight is mounted to the crane. With the special equipment SDWB the Spacelifter has in its maximum configuration a total weight of ca. 700 t. Its performance data are quite impressive: 100 t bearing load at 45 m outreach 28 t bearing load at 100 m outreach or 180 m lifting height.
