"Pecker Power," Japan's first dub album, created in 1980 by Pecker, the percussionist who formed Orquesta del Sol, Japan's first salsa band.
And, "Instant Rasta" as a project album produced at the same time. This borderless dub sound, born from sessions with The Wailers at Bob Marley's studio TUFF GONG and sessions with Sly & Robbie at CHANNEL ONE, was distributed in the United States in 1987 under the title "21st Century Dub" and has since become known to dub fans around the world.
This legendary work has been remixed/remastered by "sound alchemist" Makoto Kubota, and re-launched with a new sound that is more dope and increases the dub feeling.
* <Pecker Power Pt. 1>, which was included in "Pecker Power" at the time, is not included.
