This is a Lionel 6-26770 O Gauge Wabash #3424 Operating Brakeman Car PWC from 2001. This is part of the Lionel Postwar Celebration Series and is a re-issue of the 3424 Operating Brakeman car car from 1956 to 1958. This unique car features a figure on the roof that drops down as the car passes underneath a telltale, and he stands back up after passing under another telltale.
The car is 10.5 inches long. This brakeman car features die-cast metal sprung trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. The brakeman ducks under the tell tale.
Comes in original box with original operating instructions. Please note this includes the original car, brakeman figure, and box, it does not include the telltales, base plates or trigger blades.
Please note obvious wear on the brakeman figure and car as well as wear on the original box.
