Matisse Signed, Wide Copper Cuff, Grid Bracelet with Aqua and White Enamel Tiles

Here is a beautiful Matisse Mid-Century wide copper and enamel cuff bracelet dating to the 1950’s. It measures 1 ¾” wide with a 1 ¼” gap and is signed Matisse. It is constructed with copper screening and overlaid with rectangular hand painted enamel plaques stitched to the screening with visible copper rivets. The colors are white and light turquoise green. It’s in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the enamel only some very light surface scratches on the copper due to its age and gentle use being mentioned to be accurate. A wonderful book piece featured in Copper the Art Jewelry: A Different Luster, this bracelet would make a great addition to any woman’s vintage bracelet collection.
