The Mondo Control OG comes straight from the 1995 Running Catalogue, being part of the glorious Mondo series an idea of the brand founder Rhiachi Mizuno. Its main was the Dynamic Foot Counter: a stabilizer that reaches the middle of the shoe and served as inspiration to the legendary Wave Technology, making the Mondo Control the proud ancestor of the Wave Rider.
The upper boasts a half bootie construction, with an open mesh base, featured with a toe cap and heel tab in full-grain leather. While the lateral support sees rich suede. The colour palette comes from the OG model itself, with the white base enriched with purple and violet hues.
