Black On Both Sides is Mos Def’s landmark debut and a defining Rawkus-era release, featuring Ms. Fat Booty, Mathematics, Umi Says, and Hip Hop. This copy includes the original yellow disc, booklet, tray card, and fold-out insert, all present and intact.
The Umi Says CD single includes the clean version and instrumental, produced by Mos Def and David Kennedy. The instrumental version adds strong collector and DJ value and is directly tied to the album’s original release cycle.
