Commemorative statue/figurine of New York Yankees catcher Thurman Munson.
The statue depicts Munson in his catcher's gear, in a catching stance.
The base features his jersey number "15" and the "NY" Yankees logo.
Munson was the Yankees' captain from June 7, 1947, until his death on August 2, 1979.
He was a seven-time All-Star, a two-time World Series champion, and the 1976 AL MVP.
The full-size version of this statue was recently unveiled at Kent State University, Munson's alma mater.
