"SEA TURTLE" by Kat Byrd
Upcycled vintage jewelry necklaces, and other odds and ends, mixed with new glass beads and art beads, and features a Betsey Johnson rhinestone blue turtle pendant.
The turtle has been revered throughout many different civilizations in history going back to ancient times, and probably before!!! It symbolizes patience, perseverance, tolerance and success. The turtle has also been used to represent good fortune, and protection. In magic, the turtle has many protective powers over evil and curses.
The SEA TURTLE in particular, symbolizes peace, tranquility, and serenity. It's associated with the ocean (although this particular turtle is a land turtle, or tortoise and not a sea turtle) and the sky, and believed to bring a sense of calm and relaxation.
Measurements: approx. 18" around at the top strand, and the pendant hangs down another 4.5"
