First edirion (print number not stated) oversized hardcover copy of A Photographic Study of the Brighter Planets by Earl C. Slipher (National Geographic Society & Lowell Observatory, 1964). Hard to find vintage astronomy book, rightly illustrated with photographs taken at the Lowell Observatory. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including some chipping, creasing and small tears. Boards straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. All pages clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
