If supposed pink amethyst, which scientists don’t even know is really amethyst (check Mindat.org), is only found in Argentina & flower agate is only found in Madagascar, why are there so many ppl selling flower agate w/ pink amethyst? Bc it’s a marketing fad, scam! PA is really just quartz w/ hematite/iron inclusion, not amethyst. Also, flower agate can be pink which is usually why sellers can trick you & call it pink amethyst if there are crystals present
Plz think next time you want to break the bank & buy “pink amethyst”. It is just the hot new “crystal” that isn’t even real amethyst. Moreover, it’s impossible for flower agate & pink amethyst to be together in 1 piece bc they’re found on 2 diff continents across a giant ocean
***Plz thoroughly research what that stone/crystal is & really looks before buying, esp if you’re new to the hobby. ESPECIALLY #1 CITRINE & MALACHITE…2 of the most commonly faked crystals bc they're rare & valuable. SO MANY more are mislabeled, esp here
