Pre-1960 Jay Flex Sterling Multi-Colored Rhinestone Wreath

Stunning sterling brooch by a lesser-known designer, Jay Flex. This is the first I’ve seen & the evidence of style & quality is breathtaking. [Hard to capture in pix, though, so check them all carefully to get a true idea of the colors, design, & SPARKLE.]

The piece appears to be hand-soldered & hand-set. It’s composed of 12 faceted, prong-set, pear-shaped stones in a color somewhere b/w clear & light yellow mounted in a circle.

Spaced along the perimeter are 12 small, faceted, prong-set round stones in a charming shade of orange. (Oddly, there’s a single dark green stone among them.)

On the edges of the wreath, pinwheel fashion, are prong-set, faceted purple baguettes. (1 missing; price reflects this.)
