Quirky Live-Edge Stone Ashtray

This is a one of a kind ashtray with lots of character. It’s made of very heavy raw stone, polished smooth on top and live-edge on the sides. It’s heavy and hefty, about 7 inches across and 2.25” tall. Ashtray part is about 1.5” deep and 4” across; the finish in this part is pretty worn from frequent use. Features two spots carved out to set down what you’re smoking—those are about .5” wide, big enough for a small cigar. A few small white worn spots on the sides, please review photos carefully.

Best part: this apparently used to belong to someone named Kathy, and she proudly wrote “KATHY’S ASHES” on the rim in black marker. The lettering is a little bit faded, and finish has worn off on the left half of the rim, so the words aren’t fully visible; instead, on the left side, you can see the gorgeous veins and colors of the stone. You could refinish it and flip it, or keep it quirked up and enjoy—as it is, this ashtray has history and tells a story <3
