This exquisite, huge statement piece is from a 2010 find and this quality and color have never been matched again! The specimen is one of the most sculptural and aesthetic I’ve ever seen and it’s been treasured and kept in pristine condition. California is the only locale in the world where pink Halite has been found and the 2010 coloring and structure of this piece is highly coveted and rare. The halite is on a druzy pink Trona matrix, the 2 minerals are sodium chloride crystals that are part of the cubic crystal system. The unique growth is evident in the hoppered crystal forms that create the amazing cubic patterns. An incredible, large centerpiece worthy specimen that shows beautifully in multiple directions.
