Released world wide on VHS between the years of 1981 to 1994 in various countries, this rare live concert was finally released to LaserDisc in 1983 in the the UK and Japan. Eventually the LaserDisc was re-issued with remastered audio exclusively in Japan in on the 25th of November 1987 and again a third issue in Japan in 1990. With all these various issued releases somehow this rare concert by Kate has NEVER been released on DVD.
Background: This REMASTERED DVD is sourced directly from the high quality SECOND-ISSUE Japanese release of the LaserDisc. It’s important to note that this 1987 re-issue audio: “‘Digital Mastering’ with ‘LaserDisc Digital Selection'” Thus the quality is unmatched compared to not only any VHS but any other issue of this particular concert on LaserDisc. It has been transferred from that particular long since deleted LaserDisc from OVER THIRTY FOUR years ago.
