RARE SCOTTISH HANDMADE VINTAGE WOMEN’S HARRIS TWEED WOOL COAT GREEN
Originally Harris Tweed was woven by farmers for familial use, as it was ideal for protection against the coastal climates of Norther Scotland. The quality became so well regarded that surplus was often used for barter, eventually becoming a form of currency for the islanders. It's an all-natural product that takes years of training to produce and can only be handwoven by the islanders in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.

The item is preowned. It is vintage and has no tags except for the small one in the photo. Exceptional quality 100% virgin wool. Lining shows signs of discoloration otherwise the coat is in excellent condition. The item has no sizing information however it fits like size 8-10. Main color is vibrant green. You will surely stand out in this gorgeous piece!
