For sale : a vintage Revere Ware pressure cooker made of stainless steel with a copper clad bottom. Included are the pressure cooker lid with hinged pressure gauge, bottom, rubber gasket, and trivet. The capacity is four quarts.
This is a vintage pre-owned pressure cooker that has been used. It shows scratches and variations in color consistent with normal use. The rubber gasket is flexible.
How to use the pressure gauge
Secure the lid: Lock the lid and make sure the pressure gauge is in the closed or "off" position.
Heat the cooker: Place the cooker on the stove over medium-high heat. The air vent will typically rise as steam builds up.
Reach pressure: Keep the heat high until the pressure gauge, which is a weight on a hinge, flips over and locks into place with the small rubber stopper, or until you see the gauge is in its upright position.
