Stark Creativity black laced boned corset basque bustier strappy goth emo sz 14. Is this a corset, bustier, bodice or basque? It blurs the definition a little given it has gentle boning to the sides and back but is a zip closure with thin straps to the top. As long as you can understand what it is and if it's for you, then I'm happy. There is some stretch in the panelling but not masses and as I say, it is structured on the sides and back and I've tried to show you in the photos where this is and width of the boning. The assortment of side ribbons to the front do tie up, a double bow is advised as they're slippery little suckers and prone to slipping out of a simple tie. The middle ribbon set on the front seems to end without being tucked in. Not sure if when on you can tighten and tie it or if it's just supposed to flap about or need rethreading. I've included close ups to show what I mean. You'll also notice some light pinstripes to the fabric under the ribbons so it's not completely black. I would not call this a particularly supportive garment, there's no defined bust section and that's why I've included photos of the inside. It is more for show so do keep that in mind when considering a purchase.
