A very nice ring that has been handcrafted from a ring base, a sandstone crystal and the electro forming copper plating method.
The oval shaped sandstone crystal has a beautiful dark blue/ purple color and bright silver sparkles, resembling a beautiful clear starry night sky. Gorgeous and simple at the same time.
The copper has been electroplated to the ring over a period of 4-48 hours, allowing copper to organically grow to the structure in a one of a kind fashion, forming a thick copper plating. The metalwork is then grinded, hand patinaed then polished and sealed.
Recycled parts : recycled copper water pipes were used in the electroforming process.
