A design and architecture magazine founded in 1988 by Italian architect and industrial designer Ettore Sottsass, along with Barbara Radice, Christoph Radl, Anna Wagner, Santi Caleca, and others. The attention to detail extended beyond the pages, encompassing the binding and paper used. While architecture and design were the central themes, the magazine also featured a wide range of subjects including literature, art, history, photography, and science. The fact that Terrazzo ceased publication after only 13 issues in 1996 has contributed to its legendary status. Due to the delicate binding (paper quality) from the beginning, well-preserved copies are extremely rare. The book "Terrazzo 1988-1996" has also been published about the magazine.
